Hi All, I am in need of assistance on simplifying expressions, radical equations, factoring and hypotenuse-leg similarity. Since I am a newbie to Basic Math, I really want to learn the fundamentals of Intermediate algebra completely. Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can start learning the basics? I have the final next week.

That’s specifically the kind of problem I had faced . Can you explain a bit more on what your problems are with 4th grade +fractions +pre-assessment? Yes. Getting an inexpensive tutor suitable to your needs is pretty easier said than done these days . But even I went on to do almost everything that you are doing now. But then, my search was over when I realized that there are a number of programs in math . They come at an affordable price too . I was really overjoyed with it. May be this is just what you need. What do you think about this?

That's true, a good program can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in Remedial Algebra and College Algebra too, so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never used a software until now I can assure you it's not complicated, you don't need to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.
