Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in math . My problem areas included topics such as algebra problem discriminant = 64 and exponential equations. Now that instructor turned out to be so dumb , that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I used to be. I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is fast approaching . I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much effort I put in. Please help!

The attitude you’ve adopted towards the algebra problem discriminant = 64 is not the a good one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a situation. Its nice that you still want to try. My key to successful problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us math students. As my dear friend said in the preceding post, not only does it solve questions but it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that eventual result. That way you don’t just get to know the final answer but also learn how to go about solving questions from the scratch , and it helps a lot in preparing for exams .

I remember having difficulties with rational expressions, triangle similarity and linear inequalities. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
