Friends , I am in need of aid on inverse matrices, conversion of units, dividing fractions and 3x3 system of equations. Since I am a newbie to Algebra 1, I really want to learn the fundamentals of College Algebra completely. Can anyone recommend the best resource with which I can start reading the fundamental principles ? I have a midterm next week.

It always feels nice when I hear that students are willing to put that extra punch into their studies. imprtance of algebra is not a very difficult subject and you can easily do some initial work yourself. As a helping tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This tool is quite beneficial when doing math yourself.

Thanks for the advice . Algebrator is quite a life-saving math software. I was able to get answers to problems I had about lcf, factoring polynomials and parallel lines. You only need to type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the solutions you need. You can use it for so many , like Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Basic Math. I think everyone should use Algebrator.

Algebrator is a very simple product and is definitely worth a try. You will find several exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more fun .
