Hi All, I am in need of help on trigonometric functions, factoring polynomials, factoring and relations. Since I am a novice to Algebra 1, I really want to learn the fundamentals of Algebra 2 fully . Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can begin reading the basics? I have a class test next week.

You seem to be more freaked out than confused. First you need to control your senses . Do not panic. Sit back, relax and look at the books with a clear mind. They will seem tough if you think they are hard . example of math investigatory project can be easily understood and you can solve almost every equation with the help of Algebrator. So relax.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring tool but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this product is that it is very user friendly. There are several demos given under various topics which are quite helpful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

I remember having often faced problems with scientific notation, quadratic formula and evaluating formulas. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
