Hello Math Gurus! I am a beginner at college algebra for dummies. I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I begin to solve the problems at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

You might want to check out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my College Algebra course and I can say that it was a wise decision. There are so many examples given which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to powers and converting fractions by just typing them in. Algebrator provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable . I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

Algebrator is really a good software program that helps to deal with math problems. I remember facing troubles with point-slope, angle-angle similarity and linear equations. Algebrator gave step by step solution to my math homework problem on typing it and simply clicking on Solve. It has helped me through several math classes. I greatly recommend the program.

A extraordinary piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving cramer’s rule, adding matrices and simplifying fractions. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
