Hello Math experts ! I am a novice at decimals to mixed numbers. I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I start to solve the questions at home myself, I commit mistakes. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a private tutor . Had you posted this message before hiring a tutor , you could have saved yourself a lot of money! Anyway, now you can’t change it. In order to make sure that you do well in your exams I would recommend using Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the really tough ones for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! There used to be a time when even I was having difficulty understanding factoring polynomials, decimals and factoring expressions. But thanks to Algebrator, everything’s good now.

Thanks for the pointer. Algebrator is indeed a extremely helpful math software. I was able to get answers to problems I had about function composition, factoring polynomials and sum of cubes. You simply type in a problem, click on Solve and you get the all the results you need. You can use it for so many , like Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Basic Math. I am really happy with Algebrator.

Of course. My intention is to learn Math. I would employ it only as a resource to clear my concepts. Can I get the link to the program ?

Algebrator is a very easy to use product and is certainly worth a try. You will also find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math much more fun .

You can buy it from https://easyalgebra.com/writing-linear-equations-in-standard-form.html. I don’t think there are too many system requirements; you can just download and start using it.
