Hello Math Gurus! I am a novice at how to use a graphing calculator to solve problems. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I begin to solve the questions at home myself, I commit errors . Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

Your story sounds familiar to me. Although I was good in algebra for many years, when I started Pre Algebra there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed very hard . I remember I got a very bad grade when I took the test on how to use a graphing calculator to solve problems. Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even logarithms and quadratic equations. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a teacher , because I heard of Algebrator from a a colleague. I have been using it since then whenever I found something difficult .

I too have had difficulties in dividing fractions, ratios and equivalent fractions. I was informed that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out several but then the best that I found was Algebrator. Simply typed in the problem and clicked the ‘solve’. I got the answer at once. In addition, I was directed through to the answer by an easily comprehensible step-by-step process . I have relied on this program for my problems with Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. If I were you, I would without doubt go for this Algebrator.

Terrific . Just can’t believe it. Just the right thing for me. Can you tell me where I can obtain this program ?

proportions, factoring polynomials and graphing circles were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best math program that I have ever come across. I have used it frequently through many algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. Simply typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my algebra homework would be ready. I really recommend the program.
