Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as ratio and proporation and factoring polynomials. Now that teacher turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t solve problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything in particular that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t solve them, no matter how much effort I put in. Please help!

I have a way out for you and it might just prove to be a better one than purchasing a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a rather elaborate list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of problems and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular answer. I tried it when I was having difficulty solving problems based on ratio and proporation and I really enjoyed using it.

Yeah, I agree with what has just been said. Algebrator explains everything in such great detail that even a beginner can learn the tricks of the trade, and solve some of the most difficult mathematical problems. It elaborates on each and every intermediate step that it took to reach a certain solution with such perfection that you’ll learn a lot from it.
