Hello Math Gurus! I am a beginner at the best algebra book. I seem to understand the lectures in the class well, but when I start to solve the problems at home myself, I commit mistakes. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my solutions checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step answer ?

You haven’t provided any details about the problem that is troubling you. I would like to help you with the best algebra book as it was my favorite topic in math. I also recommend using a really brilliant software called Algebrator. This is the best that I have encountered to help math students. But make sure you use it to learn the subject and not just to copy and submit your homework.

I remember having problems with hypotenuse-leg similarity, solving inequalities and syntehtic division. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
