Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor , because I've been having a lot of problems with math homework recently . Every day when I come home from school I spend all my time with my math homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not completely sure whether a math private teacher is worth it, since it's so expensive , and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about quadratic equations with one radical that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding y-intercept,angle-angle similarity or like denominators? Any ideas will be much appreciated .

What exactly are your troubles with quadratic equations with one radical? Can you give some more details . I remember that not long ago I too had to go through a similar period of worry . In my case , my hopeless hunt led me to a teacher in my vicinity . But he was so occupied that he just did not have the time for me. He was the one who actually pointed out that now-a-days there is yet an added answer at hand. He introduced me to these amazing programs in algebra.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring device but it provides solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this software product is that it is very user friendly. There are several demos given under various topics which are quite useful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.
